ADI-KAILASH AND OM PARVAT YATRA
Adi Kailash or Chhota Kailash, and Parvati Sarovar (Gauri Kund) are considered near equivalent to Mount Kailash and Manasarovar Lake in Tibet.
The Adi Kailash Yatra is considered the next best to visiting Mount Kailash itself. One Must visit this holy place once in a lifetime. Both Adi Kailash and Om Parvat are considered sacred by Hindus.
The altitude of Adi Kailash Mount Trek is 6191 meters. The religious importance of Adi Kailash, according to Hindu Mythology, Adi Kailash is the oldest abode and resting place of Lord Shiva.
According to Hindu mythology, Ravana- the king of Lanka, visited Adi Kailash and prayed to Lord Shiva there. Ever since that time, Adi Kailash has become a spot for the devotees of Shiva, so they can live in his resemblance.
Apart from viewing the mountain – trekking and camping are the most prominent activities that one can experience near the Nabidhang. The total trekking distance to Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra is shortened to 56 kilometers.

Summer: Summer months June is the best time to trek to Adi Kailash. The sun warms up the cool region of Adi Kailash and trekkers find it easy to cope with the environment.
Monsoon: During monsoon season, the route gets slippery and trekkers find it very difficult to make through the route.
Spring: September is the charming spring favors trekkers to make way to Adi Kailash. Pleasing sun and calm weather.
