The Naina Devi Temple is an ancient temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Naina Devi and this temple is situated on the northern shore of Naini Lake, in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The city ‘Nainital’ got its name from the Naina Devi temple only and that’s why it’s known as Nainital. Naina Devi temple serves as a major tourist spot of Nainital. The Naina Devi Temple open at 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM alldays. It is one of the most visited Hindu pilgrimage centers in Nainital. According to the legends, the different body parts of Sati fell on the earth during the time of self-sacrifice. It is believed that Sati’s eyes fell at this point and subsequently, a temple was built here to commemorate the goddess. The term ‘Naina’ means ‘eyes’, so the goddess came to be known as Naina Devi. The word “Naina” referred to ‘Eyes’ and ‘Tal’ means ‘Lake’. The perimeter of the Naini Tal Lake is of nearly 2 miles.

2: KASAR DEVI TEMPLE, ALMORA

The Kasar Devi Temple is a beautiful spot to visit near Almora. Kasar Devi is a village near Almora, Uttarakhand. It is known for the Kasar Devi temple, a Devi temple, dedicated to Kasar Devi, after whom the place is also named. The temple dedicated to goddess Kali is a much-worshiped Goddess of the region. Dhari Devi a temple located on the banks of the Alaknanda River between Srinagar and Rudraprayag in the Garhwal Region of Uttarakhand, India. It is about 20 km from Rudraprayag, 16 km from Srinagar, Uttarakhand,  and 361 km from Delhi. According to the Priest, the goddess protects the four Dham (Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri) in Uttarakhand.

Out of the many festivals celebrated in Dhari Devi Temple, the most important festivals are Durga Puja and Navratra, every year on the occasion of Navratras special worship is offered to Goddess Kaliasaur. during Navratra a special Puja is organized in the temple. Mansa Devi Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi in the holy city of Haridwar in the Uttarakhand state of India. Mansa Devi temple is also one of the Panch Tirths of Haridwar. Mansa Devi is one of the most popular and most visited temples of Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

Chandi Devi Temple is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Chandi Devi in the heavenly city of Haridwar. Hindu temple devoted to Goddess Chandi Devi located on the top of the Neel Parvat in the city of Haridwar. Perched atop Neel Parvat in the Shivaliks, it was built at the behest of King Suchat Singh of Kashmir in 1929. One can visit this temple in Haridwar all throughout the year.
