Kainchi Dham one of the spiritually blessed destinations situated at an altitude of 1400 meters above the sea level on the Nainital Almora National Highway. The ashram is located at a distance of 38 km from Nainital, the famous hill-station. The spiritual refuge situated in Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand consists of a simple temple devoted to Lord Hanuman.
Kainchi is a beautiful secluded shrine and is famous for the Hanuman Mandir. The ashram is situated at an altitude of 1400 m. In 1962, Neem Karoli Baba built a platform around a place where two spiritual gurus Sadhu Premi Baba and Sombari Maharaj had performed Yagyas in Kainchi village. The Hanuman temple was later built over the platform thus establishing the Kainchi Ashram. The first temple of Lord Hanuman was inaugurated on June 15, 1964, by Neem Karoli Baba.

Kainchi Dham Temple Timings
The Kainchi Dham Ashram opens through the year. Temple is open from 7 AM to 6 PM. In winters and 6 Am to 7 PM in Summers. The Aarti timings are 7:15 in the morning and 6:45 in the evening.
